This higher altitude Vosne exhibits a strong personality, the depth of colour can most certainly be connected to the iron present in this dark soil. Regardless of the vintage, the acidity in the wines of this parcel give them an excellent aptitude for ageing.

It is an interesting balance of freshness (northern exposure) and maturity, of mineral and fruit. Black fruit is very apparent (wild blackberry, blueberry...) lifted by spicy notes (pepper).

It is simultaneously austere, hard, deep, elegant, sappy, wild... It is necessary to age certain vintages several years before the wine knits together. An excellent accompaniment to game and meat in sauces.
